Removing red wine carpet stains with milk !

If you’re worried about a red wine stain on the carpet, check the fridge first. Dab up as much wine as you can first, then immediately pour milk over the stain, allowing it to sit for about an hour to absorb the wine. In the end, dampen a towel and pat the affected area. Rather than soaking into the carpet, the wine absorbs into the milk.
